"I'm me, and I'm like nobody else."
Singer, civil rights activist, and the first black leading actress in motion pictures, Lena Horne died at the 92 on May 9th 2010. Horne was a known for her signature singing style which effortlessly fused rhythm and blues and jazz. She was one of the first African-Americans to sign a long-term movie contract with a major Hollywood studio when she joined MGM in 1942. She is one of my idols, career wise and style wise. She will be missed.
